Summer is finally here, I think.
It is nice to have some sunshine with a little rain every once in a while. The school year finished pretty good and now we are just working and playing!
We have been able to enjoy a few bbqs...
Temple Square and the beautiful spring flowers...
Cornwall girl cousins party...
Talking to Elder Mennear on Mother's Day...
And even planting our first garden! (We tried corn, carrots, peas, beans,
potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and zucchini)
Right now, Tobin is working as a tutor for the
ISU physics department. He is really enjoying that, and it is good experience for him to actually teach other people since he wants to be a physics teacher! I am just working as a dental assistant at Dr.
Suttons still, and looking for more work, but NO WHERE is hiring right now.
We have really enjoyed our bikes so far and try to go out and ride every
Saturday. As for future summer plans, we are planning on taking the bikes on the trails soon so we hope it isn't too muddy when we go. We have several trails we want to try out on the bikes, and on foot. Some that look fun are Bluebird
Mtn bike loops, Valve House,
Inman Creek and Elk Meadow loop. All of these ones are within 30 minutes of
Pocatello. We are also hoping to get some good backpacking and camping in this summer but will have to plan those out a little more!
